Locations and surroundings

The centre of the festival is the Hotel Phoenix in Souda/Plakias. Souda Bay is about 2 km west of the centre of Plakias. The courses take place in the seminar room in the hotel garden.
Dinners are held in very good tavernas directly on Souda Bay and Peristeres Beach.
The dances in the evening are in beautiful places in the neighbourhood of the hotel.
The show on Wednesday takes place in the arena of the Hotel Kalypso.
The Greek evening is in Plakias.

Plakias is not only a good place for swimming, but also a good starting point for hikes. If you would like to experience Cretan city flair, Rethymnon, which is approx. 30 km away, is the place for you.
