It is something very special when Greek and Argentinian folklore meet. Recurring themes in music and dance, from different cultures and yet not so far apart, come together. Chacarera and zamba, syrtos and siganos alternate, accompanied by lyra and bombo. Let's see what happens. It will definitely be exciting.  The island of Crete offers a wonderful setting for this.

Live music with Argentinian and Cretan ensembles, workshops for Greek and Argentinian dances, parties with food and drink by the sea - a wonderful, exciting, enriching, relaxing and unforgettable week is guaranteed.

Plakias is a nice little town on the south coast of Crete, south of Rethymnon. Although it is well developed for tourism, it is not yet overcrowded. There are several beaches in and around the town and the clear, warm sea water is ideal for swimming.
